What Light Works Universe is

A streaming house for independent films, series, and music videos. Upload from Studio. Every account gets a fan page with folders, a theme song, likes, follows, and comments.

Can someone steal the file?

Playback links expire (same idea as Bunny signed tokens). Grabbing the player URL from the browser only works until that link times out. Screen recording can never be fully stopped on the open web. Across the Stars uses Bunny for scale and extra lock-down; Light Works Universe can move uploaded shows there later. For now, files are not a raw public dump.

Hook Studio

Music artists upload WAV files — one track or a whole album. The house scores punch, drop, vocal, and dance across every 60-second window and marks the cut that should travel. Artists download that minute, build a visualizer with their AI-artist stills floating through it, and publish the page for fans. Captions stay inside Light Works Universe. The full record can live as a music video; the hook is how people find it.

Hook Studio is billed like a music video: no $3 film house fee. During founding beta, storage is on the house — we host the files. That is the product you can sell to independent artists who are tired of guessing which 60 seconds to submit.

How money moves

Shows: $3/month to upload. Music videos and Hook Studio: no house fee. Storage is on the house for founding beta — we host the files. Launch cap: 50 GB per page. Per-GB rent starts only after we move hosting off this machine and say so.

Fans pay the creator. On each rent or purchase the creator keeps 80% and Light Works Universe keeps 20%. Creators also pay $3/month to upload films and episodes — that is the house fee, and the reason the fan page, comments, and checkout live here instead of leaking to Instagram. Storage is on the house for founding beta. A listing without a video can sit for free.

Referral: share /signup?ref=yourname. When a creator you refer pays the $3 fee, you earn $1. When a fan you refer makes their first rent or buy, you earn 5% of that checkout from the house cut — not from the creator.

What sharing does

Share copies a Light Works Universe URL — a watch page or a fan page. That link always returns to this app. It is not a social post composer, and it never attaches Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or any other account.

What you cannot do here

• Connect or display a social media account
• Put social handles, profile URLs, or “follow me on…” language in a bio, title, or synopsis
• Send people to Linktree, Discord, WhatsApp, or any off-site follow destination
• Use a share action that points anywhere except Light Works Universe

Why

Exposure that immediately leaks to another app is not a house — it is a hallway. Light Works Universe keeps the audience on the film and on the creator page that lives here.
